Step three: Install the optional or replacement booklet maker accessory
1.
If installing an optional booklet maker for the first time, turn off the product and disconnect the power
cord.
CAUTION:
To avoid damage to the product, turn the product off, wait five seconds, and then remove
the power cord before attempting to service the product.
a.
Remove two thumbscrews.
b.
Remove one cover (callout 1). Release one tab, and then remove tray one (callout 2).
c.
Install the IPTU (callout 1), and then install the binder cover (callout 2).

Attach the accessory to the product.
3.
Use the adjustment wheels on the accessory to align the accessory with the edge of the product.
NOTE:
If the accessory is not correctly aligned with the product, excessive paper jams may occur.
4.
Connect the finishing accessory interface cable.
5.
Connect the product power cord, and then turn on the product.
